Terms of Service

1. Who these terms are with

ono.ai (“ono.ai,” “we,” “us”) is operated by [Company Legal Name], [registered address]. These terms are a contract between that company and you, or the organization you represent (“you”). By creating an account, signing in, or using ono.ai in any way, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use ono.ai.

2. What ono.ai is

ono.ai is a single interface to chat with AI language models from several providers, and to generate images, audio and video with others, under one account and one subscription. We do not train or operate the underlying models ourselves: chat requests are routed through a model-routing provider to the model you choose, and image, audio and video requests are routed to a media-generation provider. Those providers, and the labs behind the individual models (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, and others), are not party to these terms, and this agreement does not change anything about your relationship with them. 3. Eligibility and your account

• You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your password secret and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us right away if you think someone else has access to it; you can see and end every signed-in device from Settings.
• The email you sign up with has to be one you actually control. One account per person, unless we agree otherwise in writing (for example, a Team plan used by more than one person on your side).
• We may ask you to verify your identity or email before certain actions, such as changing the email on your account.

4. Plans, billing and renewal

• Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly depending on what you choose, and renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. Payment is handled entirely by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.
• Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep what you paid for until the end of the period already paid for; we do not prorate or refund the unused part of a period, except where the law where you live requires it, or at our discretion.
• Moving to a more expensive plan is billed right away, with credit for the unused part of your current plan. Moving to a cheaper plan takes effect at your next renewal.
• Each plan includes a monthly (or per-period) allowance of use. Prices, allowances, and which models or media each plan includes can change; we will not change what you have already paid for mid-period, and we will tell you before a renewal changes at a different price.
• If a payment fails, Stripe retries it automatically for a period before the subscription is treated as unpaid. You can also buy additional usage past your plan’s limit, for a given amount of time, as described when you buy it.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use ono.ai to:

• Break the law, or generate content that is illegal where you or the recipient are located.
• Generate or attempt to generate child sexual abuse material, content that sexualizes minors, or content intended to harass, defame, or threaten a real, identifiable person.
• Create malware, attempt to compromise a system you do not own or have permission to test, or otherwise attack the security of a service.
• Generate spam, or content meant to deceive people into thinking it is from a real person or authority when it is not (for example, impersonating a real individual or organization without their consent).
• Circumvent or attempt to circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or the plan you are on, including by automating signups to create multiple accounts.
• Resell, sublicense or provide API-style access to ono.ai to third parties without our written permission; ono.ai is a product for your own use, not infrastructure for a business built on top of it.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or build a competing product from ono.ai beyond what the law allows regardless of this restriction.

Each model provider also has its own usage policies (for example, Anthropic’s and OpenAI’s acceptable-use policies), which apply to the prompts you send that model and the content it returns, in addition to these terms.

6. Your content and what you grant us

• You keep ownership of what you type, upload, and the files models generate for you (to the extent that content can be owned, which varies by law and by what the generating model’s own terms say about its output).
• You give us a license to store, process, and transmit your messages and files as needed to provide the service — including sending them to the model provider you chose, and, if you turn memory on, to remember things about you across chats for your own future use. We do not use your conversations to train our own models, and we do not sell your content.
• You are responsible for what you upload. Do not upload content you do not have the right to share, or another person’s private information without their consent.
• If you create a public share link to a chat or a file, anyone with that link can view it without signing in, until you turn sharing off. Think before you share a link to something sensitive.

7. Changes, availability, and support

We may add, change, or remove features, models, and media options over time, including the mix of models or media available on each plan. We try to keep ono.ai available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access: maintenance, a provider outage, or an unexpected problem can make it unavailable for a period. See our Disclaimer for more on what we do and do not promise about availability and accuracy.

8. Suspension and termination

• You can close your account at any time, from Settings. See our Data Deletion Policy for exactly what that does and what we keep, and for how long.
• We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, defrauds us or our payment provider, or puts the service or other users at risk, with notice where we reasonably can give it. If your account is suspended for cause, we are not obligated to refund any part of a period already paid for.
• We may stop offering ono.ai altogether, with reasonable notice to active subscribers where we can give it.

9. No warranty, limitation of liability

ono.ai is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any model’s output will be accurate, complete, or fit for a particular purpose. See our Disclaimer for specifics on AI-generated content.

To the fullest extent the law allows, [Company Legal Name] is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of ono.ai. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, such as liability for our own fraud or, where applicable, gross negligence.

10. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of [Governing Law / Jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts located in [Jurisdiction], unless the law that protects you as a consumer where you live requires otherwise.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. For a material change, we will tell you — in the app, by email, or both — before it takes effect for existing subscribers. Continuing to use ono.ai after a change takes effect means you accept it; if you do not agree, you can cancel and close your account first.
